Welcome to our family website

This website contains genealogies and biographical information principally of the Cater and Shearer families from Liverpool along with their many inter-related families including:- Arnold, Boyer, Chetter, Lawson, Jones, Williams and Parry.

It is the historical repository of my research and includes the work of other dedicated researchers who have spent countless hours in search of the lives and stories behind ordinary everyday people who no longer have a voice.      I hope that you enjoy this site and all of its features - you will find anyone and everyone that I have been able to connect to our Cater & Shearer families listed here.      All the family documents and photographs in my possession will eventually be published here plus copies of census returns and other official documents.

This is a work in progress and not all information has been completely verified. For examples of how to use the main features of the site, please visit the FAQ page.
